Job quality in Denmark

New supplementary questions to the 2023 Q3 Danish LFS funded by the University of Luxembourg

Many studies find that job quality significantly impact quality of life. My research proposes methods to assess the quality of jobs and determine how job quality impacts employee welfare.

To illustrate how these general methods can be applied to Denmark, my collaborators are looking at the market for Danish CEOs. We are also looking more broadly at the Danish labor market through the use of survey data that we are collecting and creating. Our key contribution is to use models of job matching to better understand how workers substitute one job for another and how different workers trade-off wages against various attributes of job quality.
